Anointing

We just wrapped up our 3 days of fasting and prayer with a closing prayer meeting!

At the close of the meeting, each of us poured a generous amount of oil into our hands and then we rubbed in into our hands and we prayed for anointing to be on our hands to heal the sick, cast out devils, reach the lost, lift the suffering and more.

Then we placed our oil anointed hands on our heads and prayed for the anointing to be on our minds, to guard our thoughts and to have the mind of Christ.

Then we placed them on our eyes and prayed to see what Jesus sees and not to see and focus on the material things and temptations.

Then we placed them on our ears and prayed to shut our ears to the voice of the Devil and the world and to open our ears to the Voice of God, the still small voice. How can we prophecy unless we hear his voice.

Then we finally place our hands on our mouth and anointed our tongues too and repented of evil and idol words which we should not have spoken and we prayed to speak the Word and to preach the Gospel to others.
